                           "WE ARE ALL ONE."

    At one point or another, you may have
    heard this statement.  But did you
    realize what it actually meant?  

    The theory goes that we are all
    energy; all matter is made up of
    energy and therefore it stand to
    reason that we are also made up of
    energy.

    The complexity comes into play when
    we introduce the possibility that
    there truly is only one SOURCE of
    ENERGY -- and -- that we are all
    connected to that one source.  Now,
    some may have a stronger connection
    than others; but indeed we all have a
    connection.

So, if we are all just a connection link to the one Energy Source,
then indeed the statement proves to be true -- and we are all truly
connected to one another.

Now, this energy runs through our bodies through Energy Portals
called CHAKRAS (which means Wheel of Energy).  I like to call them
"Energy Doors."  And the key thing to remember is to ensure that the
door is always open so that energy can freely pass through.  The
concern is that as we go through our daily lives, obstacles begin to
block the doorway - making it harder for energy to flow through our
system -- and this is a potential root if all problems.

There are seven (7) primary CHAKRAS or doorways for energy to travel
through our system. It is said that these seven CHAKRAS are the
doorways for Life Force Energy (called PRANA).

The seven do correspond to certain section of our bodies and each has
its own unique role and personality.  Starting from the bottom, up...

THE 1st CHAKRA is the ROOT CHAKRA
- located at the base of the spine
- color = RED (4 lotus petals)
- part of the PHYSICAL BODY
- Sanskrit name - MULADHARA (root)
- prime function - "Grounding and Security" (survival, security,
primal energy)
- relates to the EARTH element, governs all elimination and the
survival instinct
- main focus: emotion of FEAR
- right: "to be here, to have"
- Archangel: URIEL

THE 2nd CHAKRA is the SACRAL CHAKRA
- located below the navel
- color = ORANGE (6 lotus petals)
- part of the PHYSICAL BODY
- Sanskrit name - SVADHISTHANA
- prime function - "Relationships and Emotions" (relationships,
sexuality, intimacy)
- relates to the WATER element, governs the sex instinct and the
emotions
- main focus: emotion of DESIRE
- right: "to feel, to want"
- Archangel: GABRIEL

THE 3rd CHAKRA is the SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
- located at the solar plexus
- color = YELLOW (10 lotus petals)
- part of the PHYSICAL BODY
- Sanskrit name - MANIPURA
- prime function - "Energy and Vitality" (desire, vitality, inner
strength, self control)
- relates to the FIRE element, governs the digestive system and the
ego impulse
- main focus: emotion of ANGER
- right: to act
- Archangel: JOPHIEL

THE 4th CHAKRA is the HEART CHAKRA
- located at the heart
- color = GREEN (12 lotus petals)
- part of the ASTRAL / EMOTIONAL BODY
- Sanskrit name - ANAHATA
- prime function - "Balance, Love and Connection" (love, forgiveness,
compassion, self-esteem)
- relates to the AIR element, governs the circulatory system and the
individualized soul
- main focus: emotion of LOVE
- right: "to love and to be loved"
- Archangel: RAPHAEL

THE 5th CHAKRA is the THROAT CHAKRA
- located at the neck and throat
- color = BLUE (16 lotus petals)
- part of the ASTRAL / EMOTIONAL BODY
- Sanskrit name - VISHUDDHA
- prime function - "Communication and Healing" (creativity, speech,
individual needs and will)
- relates to the ETHER, governs the respiratory system and higher
intelligence
- main focus: power of COMMUNICATION
- right: "to speak and to be heard"

THE 6th CHAKRA is the THIRD EYE CHAKRA
- located at the forehead (between eyebrows)
- color - INDIGO (96 lotus petals - 2 x 48)
- part of the MENTAL BODY
- Sanskrit name - AJNA
- prime function - "Intuition and Understanding" (intuition, insight,
psychic awareness, ESP)
- relates to the MIND, governs the individualized Self and the power
of inner perception
- main focus: power of inner perception, and INSIGHT beyond the five
senses

THE 7th CHAKRA is the CROWN CHAKRA
- located at the top of the head

consciousness, enlightenment, inspiration)
- relates to the UNIVERSAL SELF, governs the Divine Reality
- main focus: corresponds to the POWER OF CONSCIOUSNESS
